The Chinese site Chongdiantou protested against fast charging the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max with all suitable Apple adapters.
The maximum charging power of iPhone 14 is 25W and iPhone 14 Pro Max is 27W.
In this way, iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max are best charged with Apple’s 30W power adapter. The faster charging speed is independent of the charging speed, and the 18W and 20W models do not require a high charging speed.
It is likely that the 30W power adapter will also work for the iPhone 14 Plus and 14 Pro, although the charging speed of these smartphones has not yet been tested.
Similar charging speed and Apple’s 29W power supply that comes with the 12-inch MacBook.
