IFF-Dupont, together with the startup SimpliiGood, has developed the production of products from spirulina, which in all organoleptic properties corresponds to smoked salmon. At the same time, it is 100% algae, and does not contain a milligram of real fish. This product will be in demand where salmon fishing is problematic, or it is too expensive.

IFF-DUPONT is engaged in the production of siruina, it is also blue-green hydrorolina, on an industrial scale. Up to 50 tons of algae are collected here annually, but what is important from a practical point of view is that 98% of the water used for their cultivation can be reused. This is very important for the dry region, but spirulina does not have outstanding taste, although the level of sugar in the blood of vitamins and trace elements is taken into account.

Credit for the development of SimpliiGood in procedures that give fresh spirulina not only the look and texture of fish, but also the taste and aroma of smoked salmon. It is stated that practically no additional chemicals are used, for example, the characteristic color is due to the release of beta-carotene, which appeared in the algae. The final product contains 40% of the products, and therefore satisfying enough to replace the constant fish.
