In fact, we can see objects from Earth that no longer exist. This is because light needs a certain amount of time to reach the surface of our planet. If we ourselves begin to move towards such an object, then we will continue to see its radiance, but we will also see its earlier death: it is all about reducing the distance the light has to travel.

But there are other factors associated with speed close to or equal to the speed of light. This is the Doppler effect: In other words, objects behind us appear redder, while objects in front appear bluer. And if the speed is high enough, these objects will disappear completely.

Usually at the speed of light we could only see a small bright spot in front of us and the darkness around it. At such a speed it is impossible to distinguish any object.
