Apple launched today (18) next generation Apple TV 4K. With a design similar to the previous generation, the big innovation of the product is the presence of the A15 Bionic, a chip that is also used in the iPhone 13 series, as well as in the base models of the iPhone 14 series – only the most powerful mobile phones have received a new processor this year.
Apple TV 4K now with new chip Offers 50% more CPU performance and 30% more GPU power than the previous generation. In addition to improving the gaming experience, the upgrade also guarantees better power autonomy and fluidity during use, with animations and interfaces that work faster and with higher quality.
Apple TV 4K features include support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital 5.1 and 71 audio, as well as technologies such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, in addition to the Ultra HD resolution in its name.
Remote control with USB-C but without cable
The product also includes Siri Remote, the remote control that integrates with the brand’s voice assistant. With a compact and minimalist design, the accessory has a clickpad optimized for tvOS system navigation.
A novelty of the remote control is USB-C support: the model comes with a new standard port for charging. However, there is no cable in the product packaging.
Apple also highlights the integration of the new TV box with other services from the brand. Users have an optimized experience in solutions such as Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness, as well as streaming apps and games on the brand’s system.
price and availability
The new Apple TV 4K launches in two versions. The Wi-Fi model has 64GB of storage and HDMI connectivity, while the Wi-Fi + Ethernet version has 128GB of internal memory, Gigabit internet hotspot and Thread Mesh support, providing improvements for use with multiple connected devices.
Outside, the price of the Apple TV 4K starts at $129. Release scheduled for November 4. Arrival in Brazil is not yet planned by the company, but prices in the country have already been announced:

- Wi-fi + Ethernet (128GB) – 1,699 BRL
