A national software market has been launched in Russia. Only developers registered in the state registry can access the platform. Russoft has about a thousand software solutions so far.

Domestic software marketplace launched in Russia

The Ministry of Digital Development spoke about the launch of the market on its Telegram channel. The Russoft platform is a platform for communication between developers and customers of Russian software.

The market presents only solutions included in the registration of domestic software, so far about 1 thousand. Programs are presented in various categories and industries, for example, education, health, telecommunications.

The product card shows its price, the functionality of the solution, the ability to replace the import of a foreign analogue. In the future, the platform developers will add the function of writing product reviews and forming a rating of specific solutions.

From the beginning of 2025, the Russian authorities will be prohibited from using foreign software in critical infrastructure facilities. It is prohibited to purchase foreign software to service such infrastructure as of March 31, 2022.
