The Zen platform has returned the ability to withdraw monetization funds to bank cards for foreign authors, the service’s press service told TASS.
Due to the fact that some payment services were not available in the Russian Federation, some authors could not withdraw funds.
“We tested several possible options, it was important to us that all Zen authors have the same access to receive monetization funds. Today this issue has been resolved,” said the service’s press service.
They clarified that residents of Russia must link the card of the issuing bank of the Russian Federation. Non-residents have the opportunity to link any card of a foreign bank.
Difficulties with the withdrawal of funds by foreign authors from the platform began in the spring of this year.
In early September, VK Corporation completed a deal to acquire the Zen and Novosti content platforms. Previously, the sites belonged to Yandex. After that, VK launched the dzen.ru portal with the content of Zen authors.
