According to blogger Denis Konovalov, there are already more than 50 such cases. According to him, the reason for the blocking is the US sanctions against Russia. Perhaps this is due to the fact that some bloggers have specified the details of banks that have been sanctioned for receiving payments. But it’s not yet clear how Google chose to block accounts and why it didn’t affect everyone.

Bloggers can appeal Google’s decision by filling out a form. But the chances of recovering accounts are slim. Recall that in March 2022, YouTube disabled monetization for Russian viewers and Premium subscription in Russia. Now bloggers can only earn from views in other countries.
