Yam Restaurants Russia LLC applied to Rospatent for the registration of new trademarks related to KFC’s Russian business. The company wants to register a new name, Rostic’s, and a logo that represents a chicken.

In addition, applications have been submitted to the department for the registration of the Rostmaster, Shefroll, Chicken Tamagotchi and other trademarks; Under these brands, the chain will be able to sell hamburgers and chicken dishes.
Previously the owner of KFC restaurants, American Yum! Brands announced the sale of 70 establishments in Russia to the Izhevsk Food Service franchisee structures. It is planned to change the name of the network by the end of 2022.
