Skillbox has invested 90 million rubles in the release of an educational simulator. The new model will allow users with different experience to take programs that were originally designed for a specific level of professional development, they said on the educational platform.

Skillbox has developed a training simulator

The company updated the LMS (Learning Management System) platform on which the products were launched. Skillbox representatives explain that the learning management system of the new version is created by analogy with game strategies. So, each user can independently choose tasks, the solution of which will contribute to the transition to the next level.

The program itself involves the movement of the student from a basic level to a more advanced one. To proceed to each next stage, you need to get a certain number of points.

The updated products offer the user the creation of an educational track by himself, the learning process is no longer limited by the linearity of the program. If before, within the framework of a certain course, the user had to go through module by module step by step, now he will be able to immediately access those sections that seem most relevant to him. Thus, students will not be able to waste time on materials that have been previously learned.

“The main objective of our educational programs is to provide the user with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully work in a new position as soon as possible. And the best way to do this is to immediately teach a person to solve the problems that he may face at work. In addition, it is important that in the process of solving these problems, the user learns to fully apply the acquired skills and knowledge that we put into the program. So, in the courses of the updated version of LMS we managed to cover both needs”, said Marina Kharahordina, head of the methodological department of the company.

The new model is now available in the Web Designer 3.0 and Microservice Architecture courses.
