The survey showed that since February, more than half of the companies raised the salaries of employees

According to the study, 46% of companies have a salary indexation practice: 34% of those surveyed have it indexed by 5-10%, 18% – by 1-5%, 11% – by 10-20% and 23% increase depends on performance indicators. At the same time, only 6% reported that the indexation is due to the official inflation rate. Another 8% of those surveyed indicated that salaries are indexed according to the minimum established coefficient.

Overall, since February, 53% of respondents have increased their employees’ pay. The majority (56%) of employees in organizations where there is no indexing procedure intend to request a salary increase in the next six months.

In a conversation about salary changes, employees most often refer to their achievements. Many cite as an argument a comparison of salaries for similar positions in other companies.

According to the study, 33% of managers surveyed initiate pay raises themselves. After February 2022, the situation has changed a bit: in the last six months, 47% of employers have discussed the prospects of increasing wages.

A study by HeadHunter showed that half of employed Russians surveyed are dissatisfied with their salary. Residents who rent homes spend half their salary on rent, according to the survey.
