Tinkoff Bank received the right to issue cards with the Chinese payment system UnionPay, a source in the payment market told RBC, the information confirmed the technical support of the bank.

A spokesman for the bank said UnionPay cards are not currently eligible for “the highest plans for emissions and other projects at the moment we do not have.”
