AMD introduced the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 architecture.
The new products have 58 billion transistors, and the level of performance has increased in search with the previous generation by 3 times – up to 61 TFlops. These are the first devices for consumers that use microcircuits (computing units, combined interfaces).
Graphics cards have a 5nm die in the center called GCD (Graphics Compute Die). It contains all the computational units of the GPU.
Nearby are six large crystals with high-speed Infinity Cache memory. Made according to the 6nm process technology, equipped with MCD (Memory Cache Die). The bus capacity between the NOD and the WDC is 5.3 TB/s.
The cards support DP 2.1 ports and 8K resolution. Requires a 350W power supply. According to the manufacturer, FPS in games will increase by 1.7 times.
Specifications:
AMD Radeon 7900 XT and 7900 XTX will go on sale on December 13th. They cost $900 and $1000 respectively. [GSMArena]
