Basically, artificial satellites fly at an altitude of about 36 thousand kilometers from the Earth’s surface. These spacecraft are affected by several factors at once. These are various mechanical effects, vacuum (i.e. no pressure), extreme temperatures and their rapid changes, radiation and radiation.

Before launch, be sure to test the satellites for what temperatures they can withstand and stay in space. For this, special cameras are used. They are large structures that mimic space. Inside such a room is a turntable.

In such a stainless steel stand, several systems are simply placed. Among them – a system for creating low and high temperatures, as well as vacuum.

Thanks to the vacuum system, pressure up to 10-9 Torr is provided. It is possible to achieve this by pumping out the atmosphere inside. The required temperature is created using infrared heaters (high temperature) or aluminum screens containing alcohol and liquid nitrogen (low temperature).

In addition, a system is added to simulate solar radiation. Such a system is equipped with focusing mirrors that create a local heat flux.
