Yandex.Market launched the social e-commerce address – sellers will be able to post video shots with products that can be purchased immediately. The service will display short videos on the main page of its application in an endless feed and in a card with an offer from a particular seller. This was reported to RB.RU in the press service of the company.

Sellers on Yandex.Market will be able to post video shots with products

The duration of the video is from 5 seconds to a minute. The seller will be able to add shots to any of his products, and will go to the product’s own offer tab, and then to the “Shots” selection on the main page of the application.

The ranking algorithm is familiar: the more popular the video (the number of views, likes, comments, clicks to buy), the more buyers will see it.

Shoppers will be able to like shots they like, subscribe to new videos from their favorite stores, and most importantly, make purchases by going from the video directly to this seller’s offer card.

Shots will help brands increase sales and purchase rates and reach millions of potential buyers in the marketplace.

Until the end of the week, the opportunity to post photos will be available to all sellers on the site. Some users have already started to see shots in the Market app, by the end of 2022 they will be available to the entire audience.
