Vivo customers in various parts of the country are reporting carrier-related issues this Thursday (1). According to reports on the platform DownDetector and also on networks like Twitter, the operator’s signal is not live in different parts of Brazil.
Customer reports state that the operator is not getting a signal, blocking calls and access to mobile internet. Comments on DownDetector shows that the problems affect many parts of the country from north to south, especially the capitals.
Problems intensified at 10am on Thursday (1), according to data mapped in DownDetector. In addition to Vivo, Oi’s page has also received complaints about the platform describing offline services.
Users complain online
In a note to TecMundo, Vivo said it is already working to normalize operations. “Vivo has identified an instability in the equipment in its network that may have caused difficulties in using the company’s services. As soon as the problem was identified, a technical team took immediate action and services gradually returned to normal.”
