In honor of the release of iOS 16.2, Cupertino received new playlists to coincide with the launch of the Apple Music Sing feature.
This is a new karaoke mode that will drown out the original vocals, as well as special animations for the lyrics. It is only available in the new firmware.
Several special playlists are available. Among them are “Songs for the Whole Family”, “At the Microphone”, “Festive Melodies”, “Cult Duets” and many others. All of them are different from tracks of different genres.
Apple also created dedicated categories “Songs for the Pros” with collections of songs to sing along to, and “Songs for Beginners” with original versions.
All new items are secondary to Apple Music subscriptions in iOS 16.2.
