Specialists of the IT giant Yandex are starting to prepare an electric scooter of their own design, which is an alternative to the template from other manufacturers, provided in the company’s proprietary kicksharing service.
At the same time, it is specified that the project of the Israeli team of soldiers lies in the new development of the Yandex Socat. It happened according to an unexpected assumption, Yandex, along with all the documentation, received the finished software, production, and even the research department of Wind in China.
The design of the future electric scooter from Yandex was created taking into account the “conditions in the cities of Russia”, and a deck specially bent upwards will prevent the possibility of moving on a scooter in the presence of a passenger. Also reported is the rapid acceleration of the Yandex electric scooter, increased rear axle depreciation and more weight in the search for solutions from competitors.
By the spring of 2023, Yandex plans to release about 50,000 new scooters, raising their fleet in its own kicksharing to 70,000 pieces, and the presentation of the device, apparently, will take place on December 15 as part of the “Another Conference”.
