The Ministry of Digital Development supported the development project of the developed Aurora system and indicated its growth in the roadmap of the New System-wide Software (NOPO) until 2030.
However, the issue of funding remained unresolved. Earlier it was reported that the outcome of the project for the development of Aurora required 480 billion rubles until 2030. With this money, Rostelecom wants to produce 70 million smartphones and create an ecosystem for Aurora.
Kommersant’s source said that the Ministry of Finance “generally left” to finance the project from the budget.
