The film “Cheburashka” was released in Russian distribution.

Waiting for failure, but something went wrong
Before us is another film adaptation of Eduard Uspensky’s book Crocodile Gena and His Friends. It does not need to be met with a Soviet cartoon or with a primary source.
This is a completely different movie, but as an independent work it really works.
What is the movie about: Sometimes it takes one little eared hero to bring back the sun and smiles to the adult world. A furry restless animal from a distant orange country is waiting for amazing adventures in a quiet seaside town where you have to find a name, friends and a home.
To help (and hinder!) this unsociable old gardener, a strange fashionable aunt and her capricious granddaughter, a boy who does not increase his speech in any way, and his mother, who has a hard time, although she cooks the most delicious chocolate in the world.
And many, many others, whose lives, along with the aroma of oranges, are about to burst into magic and adventure.
The plot of the picture is quite simple. We have the main dirty trick, several eyewitnesses and the transformation of the heroes after a few hours.
In some ways, the film even resembles “100 Dalmatians”, namely, that there is a certain main interesting animal that especially wants to get into its possession an extremely unpleasant lady. In the story, she owns a candy factory.
All fairy-tale characters here change in image people. Only now their names are partly changed (apparently, the studio did not intercept the money to use the original names). But you can immediately see with whom they are written off. So in full are present and so tasty with children’s heroes.
This is a full-fledged children’s film with its pretense, which only suits this work. Quite accurately, small viewers evaluate both the story itself and the characters who will live their lives.
However, for an adult, such a movie may seem a bit boring and even drawn out. Interest appears closer to the middle picture, when there is increased excitability and suspicion of them. In particular, about the crisis of identification and the search for oneself.
No, I’m not saying it’s a really great movie. He has his flaws, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , . It’s generally difficult with humor here, there’s a lot of it, but there’s not much directly excellent.
There are also dramatic moments. Especially towards the end. Director Dmitry Dyachenko skillfully operates with feelings and feelings at the right moments on them, causing either laughter or tears. The theme of loneliness is especially interesting.
The novelty has many references to the whole world, there is a certain satire on the incidence in the world of events. Not always skillful, but generally appropriate and even funny.
Dialogues are structured in such a way that couldn’t be bored. They are constantly changing and do not become necessary. Many are deliberately stupid, and it shows. But overall, the message is set.
But how bad does Cheburashka look?
This is the central character of the picture. And, as for me, very little money will come out. Many modifications are made torn, especially when Cheburashka starts to play pranks.
By itself, the hero looks unnatural and serious against the general background.
It’s good that at least the final has changed and changed dramatically from how he was in the first trailers. Apparently, the artists treated this with respect. And signed a like for it.
The directors did their job well. There are many locations, they are interesting and demanding. The overall picture is bright and saturated, it contains a mischievous set of authors.
Personally, I liked the image and painful events – everything is concisely combined with others and gives positive emotions for the most part.
Worth going
While the January holidays are coming, and the weather is abnormally warm outside, going to the movies seems like a good idea.
And while the new Avatar has not been released in the Russian box office, there are good options for viewing. And “Cheburashka” refers specifically to them. This is a good family movie with a focus on children and their emotions.
