The vault is a huge copper vessel that will be placed in granite at a depth of 400 meters. The warehouse will be located on the Finnish island of Olkiluoto.
Waste from all over Europe will be brought to this warehouse, the container has a capacity of 6.5 thousand tons and will be stored for several years until the radiation background returns to normal.
