Traffic on Russian social networks and instant messengers has almost doubled since the beginning of the year, Yota reported. On some social networks, traffic increased even more significantly, for example, on TenChat, 623 times.
The operator Yota analyzed how the number of users and the volume of traffic on Russian social networks and instant messages changed from the beginning of the current year to November 30. The experts looked at the performance of the services VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, TamTam, My World, Rutube, ЯRUS, Yappy and TenChat.
For example, on the TenChat social network, traffic increased 623 times and the number of users 95 times. Yappy grew 152% in users and 1294% in traffic. At the same time, Moi Mir lost 12.3% of users and 6.6% of traffic.
The leader among the analyzed services in terms of the share of unique users was VKontakte with a figure of 57.7%, followed by Odnoklassniki with a share of 41.2%.
