In this case, the line will receive not the stock version of the chip, but the custom-built, overclocked one. There will be “hearts” for all three models: Galaxy S23, S23 + and S23 Ultra.

Most interestingly, the improved Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 can be produced in branded factories by Samsung itself. And that could put upcoming flagships at a disadvantage in terms of performance and battery life compared to other manufacturers using a slower version of the same chip made by TSMC.

If you remember, the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S23 will be introduced, is expected to take place on February 1.
