Rolls-Royce sales in 2022 set a record in the company’s 120-year history

By the end of 2022, Rolls-Royce sales were up 8% year-on-year to 6,021 vehicles, the company said. For the first time in its 120-year history, the British manufacturer managed to sell more than 6,000 cars in one year.

Most of Rolls-Royce’s sales came from the United States, where 35% of cars were sold. The second for the British automaker was the Chinese market.

Rolls-Royce expects sales to pick up in 2023, having already received a large number of pre-orders for the Specter electric car. The cessation of sales of Rolls-Royce cars in Russia will not affect the company’s results, believes its director, Torsten Müller-Otvos.

In 2021, Rolls-Royce sold a record number of its cars in Russia. More than 300 of them were sold on the Russian market, more than in any European country.
