Siberia is not only an immense natural pantry, but is also used in a natural way, where the remains of animals that lived here tens of thousands of years ago remain almost intact to this day.

In 2018, Boris Berezhnev, a resident of Yakutia, was observed on the banks of the Semuyelyakh River in the permafrost body denyp denyp denyp. To the Swedish researchers, the lion cub, whom they named Sparta, lived in a report on the telephone period called less than 0 280. Thanks to the permafrost, he had well-preserved teeth, skin, soft tissues and even a mustache.

Apparently, the lions here occupy a long time, since a year earlier, B. Berezhnev, the sickly body of a relative of Sparta, who received the name Boris, is practically not observed here. Swedish scientists believe that he is older than Sparta by about 15,000 years.

The found remains of lions in many ways resemble their modern descendants. Perhaps rarer are the thicker coat and lack of a mane.

Scientists still have a lot to gain. Boris and Sparta are young lions, it remains unclear how the color of Volovanogoras would change with age. At the back of the ears, cave lions have a dark color of life, and the remaining coat is yellow-brown. If they grew up, their coat would most likely take on a light gray tint for camouflage in the harsh subarctic Siberian climate.

It also remains a mystery how the lions lived in far away oh – alone or visiting the pride, like them from the evening
