The data of 3.5 million users of the Mail.ru mail service leaked to the network. Roskomnadzor has already launched an audit, and the company itself explained the data release by a leak in a third-party service that occurred in early 2022.
The database of users of the Mail.ru service merged with the Internet has 3.5 million records. This was reported by the telegram channel “Information Leaks”.
The network obtained data on user IDs, email addresses in mail, bk, inbox and other domains, as well as phone numbers (1.4 million unique Russian numbers), first and last names.
The published data is related to a leak that occurred on a third-party service in early 2022, the company’s press service said. Nothing threatens users of the mail service, they added there.
Roskomnadzor has already launched an investigation into the incident. By law, the business must report the incident to the agency within three days of the incident.
Previously, the same source published the data of the users of Russian Post, Vkusvill and GeekBrains, the telegram channel clarified.
