Roscosmos has released a radio frequency band of almost 300 MHz in the range 6425-7125 MHz. It should be used to operate the 5G network in Russia.
A MegaFon representative said that this current range cannot be used in mobile communications.
It will be in demand in the next 10-12 years. With a high degree of confidence, we can assume that in this frequency band, network equipment will be standardized and already adapted for 5G standards. Therefore, for the speedy development of 5G in our country, the allocation of mainly 3 GHz remains extremely important.
