It was noted that the European Union wants TikTok to comply with all the rules and regulations specified in the Digital Services Law. The social network has already discussed the policy of data security, disinformation and EU compliance. Numerous meetings with the company’s senior management covered topics such as child safety, advocacy, transparency of paid political content.

The European Union also cites TikTok as “more responsibility comes with young viewers. It is unacceptable to serve malicious and sometimes even life-threatening content behind features that appear to be fun and harmless to users.”

Recently, more than 20 states, military and Congress in the USA have banned the use of TikTok on government devices.
