State Duma Deputy Anton Gorelkin said that Telegram Premium subscription and bots for collecting donations continue in Russia, despite the status of the messenger in Russia.
On March 1, Roskomnadzor added Telegram to the list of foreign messengers in accordance with the Law on Information. This means that banks cannot use Telegram to transfer federal and payment data.
According to this law, it is not forbidden to accept Telegram payments from Russian users, so the Telegram Premium subscription can be paid in Russia. The same applies to bots that collect donations in apps.
