In January-September 2022, Russian companies received an additional 600 billion rubles in tax payments and fines. This is twice as much as in 2021, when the amount of the additional payment was 267.2 billion rubles.

Additional charges increased mainly in Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Samara region. This is confirmed by the FinExpertiza study.

Most of all taxes (19.7 billion) were required to pay additionally to mining companies, with the exception of oil and gas, as well as companies in the fields of metallurgy and chemical production.

According to the director of FinExpertiza, Elena Trubnikova, the additional charges increased in the context of more frequent field tax audits. Their number increased by 1.5 times, up to 8 thousand views.

At the same time, the average amount of additional payments also increased 1.6 times, from 40.9 million rubles to 66.6 million.
