A recent scientific study confirmed that the most active users of social networks mostly suffer from low self-esteem. This has been observed since the first year of the use of social networks.
In the future, low self-esteem may persist and lead to the development of eating disorders. Symptoms of these disorders appear after two years.
As part of the research, experts interviewed approximately 3,800 young people each year for five years. The survey was conducted in 30 secondary schools.
The results of the new study were published in the journal Psychology & Health.
