Software developer Adobe gave Russian users access to download its products. You can re-enter the software page from Russian IP addresses. Earlier on the site it was reported that the company suspended all services in Russia and Belarus.
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and others are available for download. You cannot buy a license, and only companies can renew the current one, Izvestia learned.
Mobile Research Group analyst Eldar Murtazin explained the company’s decision by saying that Adobe is systematically changing its focus on its business in the Russian Federation, as sooner or later it will have to return.
According to Telecom Daily CEO Denis Kuskov, the company once again granted access to the site to Russian IP addresses because the offices of foreign companies operating in Russia might also be subject to restrictions. This may have prevented Adobe from fulfilling its business obligations to them.
- In the spring of 2022, Adobe officially stopped sales in Russia. It also banned Russian state media from accessing some of its products.
- Adobe later allowed Russian VIP sales channel corporate users to renew their previously purchased product licenses.
