Users of the official Russian application store for Android, RuStore, were able to pay for subscriptions, applications, games, movies and music with any bank card saved in Sber ID. In addition, fast payment using the SberPay service became available to users, the VK message says.
If the user is authorized by “Sber ID”, it will not be necessary to manually enter the payment data; the cards will be drawn automatically.
To make a payment via SberPay, you need to click the SberPay button and, without entering additional information, confirm the payment in SberBank Online.
Paid applications (games and other services) appeared on RuStore in January 2023. Previously, users could only pay with Russian bank cards using the Quick Payment System or from a mobile phone account.
RuStore is developing VK together with the largest IT companies in Russia with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development. The app store is now home to around 4,000 apps and represents 3,000 development companies.
