Microsoft Teams gets Premium edition and integration with GPT 3.5

Microsoft announced Wednesday (1) Premium version of Teams software is now available to all users. The biggest difference is the service. Integration with GPT 3.5OpenAI’s artificial intelligence platform that created ChatGPT.

Microsoft Teams Premium provides users with a more personalized experience, more protection, and smarter video calling. The cost of the service is $10 per user per month (about R$50 at current prices).

One of the program’s tools is smart summarization, which allows you to: automatic generation of meeting notes. The system records the highlights of the video call and highlights important details even if the person is not 100% focused or unable to participate in the conversation.

Intelligent summarization manages to segment calls, separate discussions by themes, and even transcribes dialogues. It is then possible to rename sections in Powerpoint Live and see everything in presentation format.

Another feature available in Microsoft Teams Premium is timeline markers. With these, you can specify specific events that will only be shown to you in the meeting. For example, in case of delay, user can mark when he entered the meeting so he can review what was said later before coming to the meeting.

Soon the same functionality will allow a timeline to be displayed at any moment showing who is speaking.
