Tim Cook commented on Apple’s financial report for the fourth quarter of 2022 and said that the losses are due to iPhone production problems in China.

According to Cook, COVID-19 reduces the chances of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max degrading, which lasted for most of December.

The COVID-19 issues are associated with significant shipments of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, and continue through most of December.

Because of these limitations, we had less significant probability of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max than we had anticipated, resulting in a much larger increase in probability than we expected.
