The TexTerra agency analyzed the queries of Russians on Google in January 2023 and discovered which topics worried users the most. At the top – the upcoming holiday, “Cheburashka” and emergency contraception. RB.RU got acquainted with the results.
In January, the Russians were carried away by the rest. Searches for “when is spring break” and “when is Chinese New Year 2023” increased by 1,650% and 1,900% respectively compared to December 2022.
After the January holidays, the Russians became actively interested in the drug for emergency contraception – the growth of requests increased by 300%.
The number of requests on how to start a car in cold weather has increased by 500%. In addition, the search network audience was interested in a replica of the 1970 Lamborghini Miura – the number of requests increased by 120%. One of these replicas was scheduled to be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on February 1.
The main inquiries in the “Entertainment” category fell on the film “Cheburashka” – users were interested in where it was filmed and were looking for an opportunity to watch it online.
The research is based on data analysis from the Google Trends service and includes queries that grew in search much faster than others.
