In Russia, they plan to create an institute of verified IT experts

The document being developed should reduce the burden on the entire Russian judicial system, since experts accredited in this way can help resolve some disputes out of court, as well as help speed up the consideration of proceedings, the deputy said. of the State Duma Anton Nemkin.

The parliamentarian did not cite specific provisions that could be included in the bill, noting that there is an intention to discuss the initiative with the industry community on the website of the legislative initiative working group.

The experts confirmed the existence of problems with the lack of IT experts in the courts. There were cases when a narrow-profile information security specialist was invited to a meeting, and the case required the examination of another competence.

The success of the new bill, they said, will depend on several factors, including the qualification of the experts involved.

At the same time, the criteria for an IT expert who can act as an independent litigation expert should be developed at least with the participation of IT specialists, it is even better if such criteria are developed by the industry community itself.
