The developer preview of Android 14, Google’s new mobile operating system, started rolling out this month. that means Manufacturers such as Samsung prepare versions of the system to distribute to their devices.. And we can already expect which Galaxy phones will receive the update.

After years of fuss over updates, Samsung has clearer rules regarding major updates and promises compatibility for all tiers of its products. As such, newer handsets are expected to receive up to four system updates and possibly One UI 6.0.

When will Android 14 be released to everyone?

These are the devices that are eligible for the update, but the order of distribution and when it will start is up to Samsung. As usual, more expensive devices and newer versions should get One UI 6.0 first; this will catch up with older devices in months.

Android 14 should bring improvements in stability and security, as well as promising many new features in terms of accessibility that allow further customization of the system, new multi-language features and the option to increase the font of letters in the interface.

The final release of Android 14 by Google is expected to occur in mid-July and August this year, after the company releases preview and beta versions.
