Sber has released the SaluteVision Mobile SDK toolkit for incorporating machine vision systems into mobile applications. The technology itself was developed by the partner company SberDevices, RB.RU was informed in the organization’s press service.

Sber presented a set of tools for implementing computer vision systems

At launch, the toolset is publicly available, the library consists of four models. They give mobile apps the ability to detect and highlight document boundaries, scan and process QR and Aztec codes, and recognize machine-readable passports.

All library functionality is available on the client’s device and works without Internet access.

According to Denis Afanasyev, director of Sberbank’s Salyut B2B product division, the development will be useful for the healthcare, legal and banking sectors, as well as many HR processes. In the future, the list of models will be expanded, Afanasyev added.

At the end of January, SberDevices presented two smart speakers – SberBoom and SberBoom Mini with the Salyut voice assistant.
