According to WABetaInfo, the latest beta version of WhatsApp for iPhone has added a voice-to-text feature.

With this function, the application describes what was said to convert the audio content to text. this means there are some limitations. So, if the system could not determine a word, then transcription will not be available. The same is true if the language of the voice message is different from that specified for transmission.

All messages are processed on the iPhone, which is a good indicator in terms of privacy.

Unlike Telegram, in WhatsApp this option will be available free of charge to all users. In the “cart” it can only be used by premium subscribers. [9to5]
