It is planned to invest about 90 billion rubles in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) until 2030. Rosatom will allocate 13.3 billion rubles for this, another 74.4 billion rubles will come from other extra-budgetary funds.

Rosatom will participate in IIoT and the production of telecommunication equipment

Such a calculation of investments in the segment is given in the government-approved roadmap for the development of industrial software until 2030. Vedomosti familiarized himself with the document.

We are talking about the Rosatom project for the production of telecommunications equipment, said a representative of the state corporation. It is implemented by a subsidiary of T-COM, a manufacturer of switches for building and upgrading data transmission networks, on the basis of which it is possible to implement IIoT networks and devices, he added.

In seven years, according to the government’s plan, a big data-based IIoT home platform for managing discrete and continuous production in agriculture, mining, industry, energy, housing and communal services, construction, education, transportation, and logistics should appear.

The share of Russian IIoT platform solutions will grow rapidly by 2030, as Western vendors have left and will not renew licenses, Kolesnikov believes. Until now, Russian companies that do not substitute imports use the OSI Soft PI System, AVEVA System Platform, PTC ThingWorx, Siemens MindSphere, Honeywell, Emerson and Yokogawa platforms, the expert said.
