The publication explains that currently more than $36.4 billion is “not found,” out of $258 billion. It turns out that at the moment the European Union does not know where the remaining 86% of the blocked funds are located.
The lawyers pointed out that if the European Union wants to use these funds to rebuild Ukraine, these funds must be found first. They submitted a proposal to compel European banks to transfer all information about the frozen funds of the Russian Federation to the European Commission for the above-mentioned purposes.
Konstantin Gavrilov, head of the Russian delegation, who previously held talks on military security and arms control in Vienna, commented on the information on the possibility of the United States and Europe to deliver fighter jets to Ukraine.
