A MacRumors source told how the Always-On Display feature will work in the iPhone 14 Pro.
The feature will be available on iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. In general, the operation of Always-On Display on iOS will be similar to Android, but using:
▪️ Wallpaper will be displayed without foreground. In addition, the image will be completely, much stronger than when working. Dark mode.
▪️ Widgets appear and disappear in interval mode to prevent OLED screen burn-in.
▪️ Indicators at the top of the screen will not be displayed.
▪️ Content displayed on Always-On Display will be identified Lock screen. That is, for Always-On Display, you can not select other wallpapers, widgets, fonts and colors.
▪️ Notifications are detected within 10 seconds.
▪️ Users are active at the bottom of the screen.
Apple also plans to release iOS 16.0.1 16.1 shortly after the iPhone 14 Pro goes on sale to fix the Always-On Display or wallpaper issue. At the moment, the function still works with errors.
iPhone 14 Pro will be presented on September 7th. The start of sales is expected on September 16.
