Vitamin blending platform Vitobox has acquired a 30% stake in nanoemulsion beverage company Goatea. The deal amounted to $1 million, the companies plan to co-brand products and jointly expand the distribution market.
The transaction took place on February 1, 2023, a Vitobox spokesperson said. The platform bought a 30% stake in Goatea for $1 million. Vitobox and Goatea plan to co-brand products for offline distribution.
The Vitobox platform, using AI technology, selects a personalized set of vitamins. According to the company, the selection accuracy is 93.2%. The Vitobox website indicates that its partners are Tinkoff, VTB, Okko, Hatber and other companies.
Goatea creates an iced tea based on GBD nanoemulsion. The components of the product are supplied by the Swiss company SeedEx.
“Vitamin water is one of the most promising niches in FoodTech in Russia, after foreign players left Russia or weakened their presence in this market, and local substitutes did not gain popularity,” said Daniil, co-founder and president of the Board of Directors. from VITOBOX Choir.
The companies intend to create the first vitamin water in Russia with the addition of GBD nanoemulsion and teas with minerals, vitamins and amino acids. The product line will focus on specific goals such as muscle building, focus and concentration, skin, hair and nail health.
