Russian Post launched a pilot project for the sale of non-pharmaceutical products. The range of “health cabinets” to be installed in post offices will include more than 80 items, the operator said.
Showcases are installed in 40 departments of the St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk and Vologda regions. On sale “Post” offers vitamins, dietary supplements, bandages, creams, thermometers and other products that may be useful for a home first aid kit.
If the company recognizes the pilot project as successful, it will expand to other regions.
In the summer of 2022, Russian Post launched home delivery of medicines for residents of small towns and remote areas. The new service is available at 1.2 thousand Post Offices in 77 regions of the country.
