Authorities will simplify reporting to Rosstat for small businesses

According to RBC with reference to the project, small businesses will not have to send reports to various departments; for these purposes, it is proposed to use a personal account on a digital analytical platform to provide statistical data using an electronic signature.

The document explains that such an innovation will reduce reporting time to several hours a year.

Now, of nearly 2,500 regular reporting forms, more than 1,000 are for small businesses, the initiative’s authors note, and the number of reporting forms a business submits can exceed a dozen in a period of time (year, quarter). . , month).

The innovation is that entrepreneurs will provide statistical reports not according to forms, but according to an exhaustive list of indicators, which will be approved by the government. Rosstat, together with business associations, is currently optimizing this list, the Ministry of Economic Development reported.

Currently, Rosstat conducts continuous statistical monitoring of small and medium-sized enterprises every five years (the last one was carried out in 2021). The rest of the time, the agency organizes selective observations of small and medium-sized enterprises once a month or once a quarter, micro-enterprises – once a year. The amendments also remove the specific frequency of statistical observations from the law. It is indicated that the procedure for its implementation is established by the government.

If the law is approved, it will take effect on January 1, 2024.
