HeadHunter has opened an opportunity for applicants to confirm their English language skills at levels A1 to C2, the company said. To do this, you need to pass the test, which was compiled by experts from the Alibra School, partners of hh.ru.

HeadHunter launched an option to confirm the level of English proficiency

The option is free and available to job seekers of any profession in hh.ru mobile applications, both when creating a new resume and editing a current or archived one. The time to pass the test is limited to 10 minutes and the number of attempts is limited to one per month.

After successfully passing the test, a check mark and a message confirming the level of English proficiency will appear on the applicant’s resume, highlighted in green. Employers will see this when they view resumes. The English proficiency test is valid for one year.

HeadHunter promises that if the applicant does not pass the test, this will not affect the format of his resume and his positions in the search results of the resource.

The job search service is working on the validation of applicants’ skills so that the employer receives an employee who has been tested in terms of skills and the applicant has the opportunity to learn after the test. The English knowledge requirement is one of the most common among employers, in 2022 it was found in 365,000 vacancies.

At the end of 2022, an option to confirm Excel skills became available on hh.ru. In three months, almost 12,000 applicants have confirmed their knowledge of Excel.
