There are three uses in acetate-based salts before chlorides. First, they reduce the temperature of ice formation. Secondly, they are less aggressive to other substances and do not cause corrosion. Thirdly, Chinese chemists intensively create salt that is not washed out and is practically not consumed for a period of a year.
The secret of the new substance is that it replaces the mineral additive in asphalt, is part of it, and carries us nat. Capsules in a 5 cm thick asphalt solution gradually release the active substance over a period of 7-8 years.
