Wildberries will stop accepting unlabeled products from vendors starting March 1, the same day the new product labeling legislation goes into effect. The list of such products is extensive and markets are also responsible for compliance with their labeling.

Wildberries will stop accepting unlabeled products from vendors

A Wildberries representative announced the new rules for working with vendors.

From March 1, the market will no longer accept products without the state mark “Honest Sign”. Such goods include clothing, shoes, underwear, perfumes and toilet water, inner tubes, tires, bottled water, and dairy products.

In Russia, from March 1, a legislative amendment on product labeling comes into force. Markets will be prohibited from selling products without the required labeling.

“In the absence of a marking code on a product or the inability to scan it, Wildberries will return such goods to the seller,” Wildberries noted.

In Wildberries, the measure was called forced. It will reduce the costs of reverse logistics and double handling of merchandise subject to labelling.
