The Russian “daughter” of Vilnius-based mobile game developer Game Insight has filed a lawsuit against the parent company, according to the filing cabinet on the Moscow Court of Arbitration website.
Earlier, the court declared the Russian structure bankrupt. The amount of unfulfilled obligations to creditors then amounted to 76.2 million rubles. In addition, it was reported that the company’s salary arrears and severance pay amounted to 66.5 million rubles.
For the first time, the Game Insight team encountered non-payment of wages in the summer, when the parent company decided to leave the Russian Federation in connection with the hostilities in Ukraine.
The lawsuit was filed on February 21, according to data from the court’s website. The amount of claims is 154.3 million rubles.
Game Insight was founded by Alisa Chumachenko, former Vice President of Marketing and Advertising at Astrum Online Entertainment. At the beginning of 2022 she left the project. The developer is known for products like The Natives and Airport City.
