The majority of user data (64%) was compromised as a result of attacks on large companies, RIA Novosti reported with reference to a Kaspersky Lab study.

The leaders in terms of leaked information were retailers, with 14%, and delivery services, with 34%.

In 2023, according to the company’s forecasts, the number of leaks could increase by 20%. At the same time, attackers may still be interested in the retail sector, which historically stores huge amounts of information.
